High bond gel tape is a foamed viscoelastic acrylic high mass double-sided tape, it is a mass of structured adhesive which result in a very strong bond. The adhesive is designed to create a permanent bond and can be used as an alternative to mechanical fasteners, screws, bolts, rivets, welds and liquid adhesives Some common uses of VHB include: permanent mounting of plastics and metals, sign channelling, signage mounting, display production, plastic and metal fabrication, permanent POS manufacturing, it is also used in the glazing industry for window and door production. It is also used in the automotive industry for trims, panels, and coach building. It has a red filmic liner but can also be supplied with a white paper liner for die cutting applications.
